Best Practice Medicine seeks a proven human resources generalist with significant experience in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and organizational development. In this role, you will play a key role in both setting and achieving strategic organizational goals. As an HR Generalist, you will enjoy a broad level of autonomy and associated responsibility for achieving success.

Location
Best Practice Medicine is a national healthcare organization with coast-to-coast operations. We are headquartered in Bozeman, MT, with a satellite campus in Columbia Falls, MT, and Reno, NV. This role is strongly preferred to be located in Bozeman Montana.

What You Will Do

Leadership and Management

  • Lead and manage HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment laws.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leadership and department managers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Talent Management and Employee Relations

  • Develop and implement strategies for recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure a best-in-class employee experience through engagement initiatives and professional development programs.

HR Compliance and Benefits Administration

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees understand and utilize available programs effectively.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.

Organizational Development and Strategy

  • Analyze HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and succession planning strategies.

In the First Three Months, You Will

  • Conduct a full assessment of current HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Develop and implement immediate improvements to streamline HR operations.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and employees to foster a culture of trust and transparency.

In the First Six Months, You Will

  • Implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to support company growth.
  • Lead compliance initiatives to ensure full legal adherence across all HR functions.
  • Establish HR benchmarks and KPIs to measure and optimize HR performance.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • 5+ years of senior HR leadership and management experience.
  • Proven track record in leading HR functions for mid-to-large-scale organizations.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Google Suite.

Bonus Structure
