Position: Simulation Specialist (Master's Nurse Educator or Paramedic)

Reports to: Simulation Team Leader

We are looking for experienced pre-hospital and hospital-based clinicians with a passion for experiential education to join our teams based in Bozeman and Columbia Falls, as well as remote. Duties & Responsibilities:
Under supervision of the Simulation Team Leader (STL), the regional Simulation Specialist is generally responsible as a simulation team member for the day-to-day delivery of the simulation curriculum and associated tasks:
Support Duties
- Perform vehicle and equipment set-up, operation, and breakdown for simulation sessions, training, and maintenance needs.
- Complete daily vehicle, manikin, and systems maintenance checks, activities, cleaning, and reporting requirements.
- Have working knowledge and perform troubleshooting of manikin and associated systems.
- Function as vehicle driver if qualified.
- Other support duties as assigned.
Education Duties
- Implement simulation session curriculum and function as an educator for simulation events.
- Provide evaluation and feedback of individual participant, healthcare team, and system performance as required by simulation event objectives and curriculum.
- Perform collection of evaluation data on learning outcomes for simulation activities and collaborate with STL, simulation group members, and administration to disseminate findings.
- Collaborate with simulation group, STL, and administration to develop simulation scenarios to promote student learning, critical thinking, and clinical decision making.
- Maintain a professional and positive image of Best Practice Medicine.
- Maintain simulation program education and professional standards in accordance with program policies and procedures as listed in the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-10 years clinical practice experience (Master's Nurse Educator or Paramedic)
- 2-5 years clinical educational experience
- Multi-discipline instructor ratings
- Pre-hospital and hospital based experience
- Experience with Google based technology
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with in project management
